The STAUFF companies are part of LUKAD Holding GmbH & Co. KG, an independent group of companies owned by the Menshen founding and partner family. The headquarters are in South Westphalia, one the three strongest industrial regions in Germany and the strongest industrial region in North-Rhine-Westphalia – measured by the number of employees making social security contributions in the manufacturing trade.
The acronym LUKAD stands for the first letters in the given names of the five members of the Menshen family and the original partner of the holding: Lutz, Ursula, Knut, Arnold and Dorle. Today, the operating management of the company is carried out by Jörg Deutz (Chief Executive Officer) and Lutz Menshen (Managing Partner). Knut Menshen is the chairman of the advisory board of LUKAD Holding.
LUKAD Holding takes on central tasks for the linked companies, in particular in the areas of planning, steering, administration, finance and controlling, human resources (HR) and information technology (IT).
The companies of LUKAD Holding, who currently employ around 2,750 people at more than 60 sites in 23 countries worldwide, were able to generate a consolidated external sales of around 650 million EUR in the 2022 business year.

MENSHEN with headquarters in Werdohl, which takes on not only transport and disposal of steel and other scrap metal but also practical recycling and therefore provides an important contribution to the processing of these materials.
