Heavy Twin Series

The clamps are available in robust polypropylene (PP) in green or polyamide (PA) in black. Elastomer inserts made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) are also available as an option for additional vibration and noise damping. Special colours and flame-retardant materials are available on request.

STAUFF offers metal parts such as cover plates, welding plates, screws and rails in mild steel with a zinc/nickel surface or phosphate coating as well as in stainless steel grades V2A and V4A. This selection guarantees high corrosion resistance and durability, even in demanding environments.

The clamps are available in two sizes for pipe diameters between 12.7 mm and 42 mm (equivalent to 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches).

Typical applications include mobile hydraulics (e.g. in construction machinery, mining and forestry machinery) and mechanical and plant engineering (e.g. in hydraulic presses, steelworks and power stations).

The double clamps offer the possibility of fastening two pipes with just one clamp body, which saves installation space and weight. This design also enables a reduction in the number of components and efficient stock-keeping, as many standard components are compatible with the heavy-duty series in accordance with DIN 3015 (Part 2).

STAUFF double clamps are certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritas (BV), Lloyd's Register (LR) and have other customer-specific approvals in factory standards and specifications.

Depending on the metal parts and bolts selected, tools may be required for assembly, for example for welding the weld plates or tightening the bolts.
